What is the difference between indoor and drive-up storage units?
Indoor units are located inside a building, offering extra protection from the elements. Drive-up units allow you to pull your vehicle right up to the door—perfect for quick loading and unloading. We offer both to fit your needs.
How do I cancel my storage unit rental?
It’s easy! Just give us 10 days written notice before your next billing cycle and clear out your unit by the last day of the month. There are no cancellation fees. Remember to remove the lock from the unit.
How long can I rent a storage unit?
We offer flexible month-to-month leases, so you can rent for as little or as long as you need. Whether it’s short-term during a move or long-term for storage, we’ve got you covered.
How do I pay my storage bill?
Pay your storage bill online using a debit or credit card. You can also speak to your facility manager about autopay and any other options available to you.
What documentation do I need to rent a unit?
A valid form of government-issued ID such as driver’s license, passport, or state ID.
What items are not allowed in a storage unit?
To keep all customers safe, you cannot store hazardous materials, explosives, perishable food, live animals, or illegal items. If you’re unsure whether something is allowed, feel free to contact your local Attic Storage manager.
Do I need insurance for my storage unit?
Yes, insurance is required to rent a unit at Attic Storage. You can bring your own policy, or we offer affordable storage protection plan options at move-in for added peace of mind.
Do you offer moving supplies at your facilities?
Yes—we sell boxes, tape, packing materials, and more right onsite at most Attic Storage locations, so you can get everything you need in one stop.
Do you offer discounts for military, students, or seniors?

Are there any late fees for missed payments?
Yes, late fees may apply if rent is not paid on time. We recommend setting up automatic payments through your online account to avoid any missed due dates.
